Alloy Steel F11 Forged Fittings consist of a majority of Chromium (2.25%), Molybdenum (1%), with minor contents of Carbon, Manganese, Silicon, Phosphorus, and Sulfur. The above composition gives excellent strength, heat resistance, and wear resistance. The mechanical properties of Alloy Steel F11 are tensile strength 415-585 MPa, yield strength 205 MPa, and elongation 30%. These fittings also have good hardness, usually in the range of 90 HRB, and outstanding resistance to high temperatures, which makes them suitable for use in power plants, boilers, and other harsh industrial applications.
