Alloy Steel Grade 22 Coils are primarily composed of 0.10–0.15% carbon, 0.25–0.50% manganese, 0.25–0.40% silicon, 2.00–2.50% chromium, and 0.50–0.80% molybdenum, with trace amounts of phosphorus and sulfur (<0.035%). This composition provides high tensile strength, toughness, and excellent resistance to high-temperature creep. Mechanically, these coils offer a tensile strength of 620–850 MPa and yield strength of 415–600 MPa. They are suitable for hot and cold working, welding, and forming, making them ideal for boiler tubes, pressure vessels, and high-temperature industrial applications.
